Lorenta Kadriu, Programs Assistant of Partners Kosova Center for Conflict Management (Partners K” (member of Partners Global, (Partners for Democratic Change) International Network. She studies Psychology – Philosophical Faculty at Public University of Kosova “Hasan Prishtina”. Prior to her current job with “Partners K”, Ms. Kadriu, thanks to her talent, knowledge, multi-tasking skills and fast learning experience, “has warned different hats” in different organizations: Co-founder of United Youth Task Force, leading: “Young People Change Makers” of the program Youth in Decision Making Process. Facilitating the drafting program of 15 Local Youth Action Council together with Department of Youth, Culture and Sport in 15 municipality in Kosovo. Monitoring many cross-ethnic project proposal and filed work; outreaching young woman and man in rural areas, and non-majority communities: Serbian, Roma, Turkish, Ashkali, Egyptian, Gorani and Bosnian. Conducting training on decision making and advocacy with young people, to provide them appropriate information and advocacy toolkit for their professional needs.
Ms. Kadriu, works in the civil society sector as a youth human rights activist, strong voice driver of change. Following the passion for diversity, peacebuilding, and advocacy, she has created many youth networks, at national and international level, spreading enthusiasm in peacebuilding around the world for future, resiliency innovative choices.
She has participated in many national and international experiential learning and sharing events e.g.: trainings, workshops, and other youth peace activities, made her a “Diversity Role model “of change in peace-building, diversity, and advocacy – a strong voice of the non-represented groups in a country and beyond it. Previously, Lorenta has been a co-founder of a multi-ethnic youth networks locally and regionally, where she guides training, workshops, conferences, round tables with the focus of youth participation in decision-making processes at the local and central levels, following with advocacy activities in rural and urban areas in Kosovo. She served as a bridge to re-connect youth from different communities’ groups. Recently, Lorenta has joined “Partners K” inspiring work team of Equality and Peace Builders “Critical Thinkers – Acting Rationally”, where she has been certified on P/CVE field and other Collaborative Processes from “Partners K” experts – Training Program, where given the opportunity to contribute in drafting process of the CSO’s Action Plan on P/CVE. Recently she is involved as project programs assistant to contribute to the mindset change of society for future resilience world, working together with Partners K-Team.
