Since the Center’s inspection in 2001, “Partners K” main focus for several years, was to develop sustainable professional Training Program, initially supported by Partners Global (former Partners for Democratic Change International) Network, building team of professional trainers, well equipped with capacity knowledge and skills, for the sustainability of the Center. For more innovative professional knowledge and skills, “Partners K” over years has invested lot of time in developing joint projects with other Partners’ Centers, program exchange activities – study visits and training in order to ensure high quality of the training capacity skills for its staff.
Thanks to the enormous work done locally and internationally shared and gained knowledge and skills, and expertise, “Partners K” committed expert staff, has generated many new innovative competitive training packages, based on the needs in the field, research analyses and comparatives studies, and the good useful cooperation with all relevant stakeholders. Today, “Partners K” Training Program is perceived as the most competitive professional training provider in Kosovo, Balkans Region, EU and some other countries, where Partners Global, and not only are active, thanks to the expertise, reflected in various innovative themes and topics for capacity building skills and knowledge, locally and internationally.
The competitive innovative training methods developed has contributed a great deal resource to serve the needs of implemented and ongoing Center projects, also to build training package philosophy and practice adoptable for two new potential “Partners K” future programs: Transitional Justice & Preventing/Countering Violent Extremism (TJ & P/CVE) to be lunched.
What it makes more “Partners K” Training Program competitive in the market locally and internationally, is the professional team of trainers, their creative synergy of arts, knowledge, training work experience lively demonstrated tricks, with visualization techniques, reframing messages, role plays, video narratives, and other attractive demonstrated secrets by a skilled team to meet training attendees’ expectations. “Partners K” through this program over the years has provided capacity building services for CSOs, Judiciary System, students of University and High Schools, Kosovo Police Service, Former Kosovo Protection Corps (current Kosovo Security Force), and dozen staff and individuals from Local and International GO’s and NGO’s in Kosovo, Western Balkans Region and Beyond. Through this program, also using Partners Global (former PDCI training Model (PCM), combined with “Partners K” training model package, provides different trainings/workshops in the following topics and themes:
• Mediation/ADR Basic and Advanced Skills a methodology that includes: communication skills, conflict management, negotiation, mediation (Corporate mediation, Mediating with gender sensitization, Peer mediation). PK did draft Training Curricula for other organizations and provide training for them, such as OSCE (2005), on Mediation Conflict resolution and facilitation and facilitative mediation complementary with any required project and non-project needs;
• Training on Advocacy and Coalition Building and Networking, a methodology that includes: Facilitating the Collaborative Process, Building Coalitions, Implementing and Monitoring Agreements, Participatory Planning, Ethnic conflicts, Code of Ethics, Role of elected leaders, Project Proposal Writing, Project Management, Human Rights, etc.
• Gender Equality and Mainstreaming a methodology that includes: Concepts, definitions, theories and practices, legal instruments and gender policies: What is Gender Equality and what is Gender Mainstreaming? Gender and women’s rights, Anti-discrimination legislation, Gender and sex nondiscrimination policies and practices, Gender responsive budgeting, Gender pay gap, Relationships between men and women and gender roles and responsibilities, Basic and gender analysis skills, mediating with gender sensitization, The Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination against Women, what is 1325 UN Resolution and the Gender Security? EU Conventions and UN SDGs, Gender Perspective in Transitional Justice, Peace Tables and other relevant gender matters.
• Preventing / Countering Violent Extremism a methodology that includes: Communication skills and Critical Thinking, Conflict mapping, Conflict Preventing, Conflict Transformation, Effects of Radicalization, Credible messages, Building counter narratives, community engagement, Mobilization Activities etc.
